Long Island residents who want to hear a lot of good music and help a good cause at the same time, take note. On Sunday, July 9th, the annual "Multiple Musicians Against Multiple Myeloma" show will be held at Tupelo Honey restaurant in Sea Cliff.
The event was started in 2002 by Lee Grayson, a popular local musician, shortly before his death from the blood cancer multiple myeloma. Every July since then, his friends have continued the event. So far it has raised over $50,000 for research into this nasty killer, and support for its victims.
Twenty bucks gets you a whole day of awesome music. Performances start at 11.00 am. There’s good food, and lots of good stuff in raffles. Look forward to seeing you there!
